BMS Estimating Engineer

In this position, you will play a key role in shaping project proposals, working closely with internal technical teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, competitive, and well-structured estimates. Role Overview As a BMS Estimating Engineer, your core responsibility will be to produce detailed cost estimates and support early-stage design for smart building technology projects. You will collaborate with engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure all proposals align with the project brief and commercial objectives. Key responsibilities include: Prepare detailed cost estimates for smart building and BMS projects; Review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation; Source and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years’ experience within a BMS-focused role; Strong technical understanding of BMS, HVAC, AV, IT networks, and lighting control systems; Confident using industry-standard estimating tools and Microsoft Office applications. This is a full-time position offering a salary in the range £40,000–£55,000 per year.
