About the role
Warehouse & Logistics Operative Warrington up to £27,500 DOE
Interviews will be taking place WC 20th July 2026
Our client, a well-established global organisation is seeking to recruit for a Warehouse Operative to join their busy distribution team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently, helping us deliver excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming deliveries.
- Load and unload goods safely from delivery vehicles.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Complete goods receipt checks and process delivery documentation.
- Carry out perpetual inventory counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse locations are maintained.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks, forklifts, and reach trucks (where licensed).
- Maintain accurate stock records and complete warehouse documentation.
- Follow manual handling procedures and safe working practices.
- Handle hazardous materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years’ previous warehouse or distribution experience (preferred).
- Experience with inventory management and stock control.
- Experience using warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, forklifts, or reach trucks (licence preferred).
- Good computer and data entry skills.
- Competent Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
- SAP experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
