Temporary Receptionist (Summer Holiday Cover) up to £13.50ph + DOE

Are you an organised, professional, and friendly individual looking for temporary work this summer? We are recruiting experienced Receptionists to join our talent pool to support a variety of clients with holiday cover across the summer months.

Working with a range of businesses across different sectors, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience. Assignments vary in length and location, offering flexibility and the opportunity to gain experience in different working environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meeting and greeting visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
• Managing reception and front-of-house areas
• Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
• Booking meeting rooms and coordinating visitor schedules
• Providing administrative support, including filing, scanning, and data entry
• Managing emails and responding to general enquiries
• Maintaining office supplies and stationery stock
• Supporting office teams with ad hoc administrative tasks
• Ensuring reception areas remain tidy, organised, and presentable

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous reception or front-of-house experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A professional and approachable manner
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office and general office systems
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments
• Reliable, flexible, and available for temporary assignments throughout the summer
