Join Our Client as an Administrative Officer at Sheffield's Law Courts
Are you organised, professional, and passionate about delivering excellent service? Our client, a reputable organisation within the public sector, is hiring for a full-time Administrative Officer based at The Law Courts in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience working within the justice system, supporting court operations and ensuring smooth proceedings.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting court and tribunal hearings by preparing documentation and ensuring systems are ready
* Handling face-to-face, telephone, email, and digital enquiries from court users, legal professionals, and partner agencies
* Providing guidance and support to the public, including vulnerable individuals and those with additional needs
* Processing casework, maintaining accurate records, and updating internal systems securely
* Managing legal documents, correspondence, and hearing notices
* Assisting with scheduling, jury administration, and operational activities to keep services running efficiently
* Collaborating with colleagues, judicial officers, and external stakeholders
* Supporting hearing room activities, preparing case materials, and ensuring hearings run smoothly

Additional info:
* Location: Sheffield, S3 8PH
* Hourly rate: £12.86, rising to £13.25 after 12 weeks
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
* Duration: ASAP until 31/03/2027
* Full training provided; no holidays during induction
* Enhanced DBS clearance required (additional overseas police check if applicable)
