Internal Recruiter

We're looking for an ambitious Internal Recruiter to join a dynamic and expanding organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, drive recruitment initiatives, and help attract top talent across the UK and Europe.

You'll be at the heart of the hiring process, managing vacancies from initial approval through to offer stage while delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout.

What You'll Be Doing

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Support the delivery of the business's recruitment strategy.
  • Partner with hiring managers to fully understand hiring requirements and workforce plans.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across a variety of professional and technical roles.
  • Identify, attract and engage high-quality candidates through multiple sourcing channels.
  • Ensure vacancies are approved, advertised and managed effectively.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and provide regular hiring updates to stakeholders.
  • Build and manage relationships with external recruitment partners and job board providers.
  • Support workforce planning activities and attend resource planning meetings.

Sourcing & Candidate Management

  • Create engaging job adverts and promote vacancies across platforms including LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Review applications and shortlist suitable candidates.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate suitability and motivation.
  • Provide candidates with clear information on opportunities, interview processes and expectations.
  • Proactively source passive candidates and build talent pipelines for future hiring needs.

Interviews & Onboarding

  • Coordinate interview schedules and ensure a seamless recruitment experience.
  • Prepare interview documentation and ensure compliance requirements are completed.
  • Arrange interview logistics, including diary management and meeting room bookings.
  • Participate in interviews alongside hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring records accurately.
  • Prepare and issue employment offers in collaboration with HR and hiring managers.
  • Support a smooth transition from offer acceptance through to onboarding.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • Previous recruitment experience, ideally within an internal recruitment or talent acquisition environment.
  • Good understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively.
  • Proven experience developing strong internal and external relationships.
  • Understanding of HR processes and recruitment best practice.
  • Experience within the construction, property, engineering, consultancy or infrastructure sectors would be advantageous.
  • Experience using Workday or similar applicant tracking systems is beneficial.
