We're recruiting dedicated Residential Childcare Workers in Lanark to support children with complex needs through a multidisciplinary combination of teaching and therapy. A successful child support worker will be responsible for:

  • Provide essential 24-hour care and support as part of a committed team.
  • Guide and assist young people dealing with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties.
  • Facilitate community and school integration.
  • Maintain the highest professional boundaries and adhere to National Care Standards.

To be successful in your application, you will:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a residential setting with young people.
  • Experience working with children with complex needs
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills.
  • Registration under the PVG scheme.
  • A full driving licence.
  • An SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, is desirable (or working towards it).
