Head Chef – TP2556

An historic inn located in a popular tourist destination is seeking a passionate Head Chef to take on an exciting challenge to set up a new menu in a new kitchen. The inn is currently being significantly restored by the owners and the current plan is to be fully open by September 2026. As Head Chef you will have the opportunity to develop the menus and introduce different styles of cooking with the view of attracting both tourists and locals to the inn. As Head chef you will have a strong input on the seasonally changing menus in conjunction with the owners giving you  a fantastic opportunity to put your stamp on the property. Alongside the menu planning and staff training you will be responsible for all the ordering, paperwork and GP.

Requirements:

A Head Chef who has a stable background working in fine dining standard fresh food environment where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a strong team leader who has a mature approach to training in the kitchen in order to get the best out of your team. All chefs should be fully aware of current hygiene legislation with experience of training others in this area and ensuring it is followed at all times.
