Experienced Nanny Housekeeper required in Beautiful Rural Home near Colchester, Essex

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable Nanny Housekeeper to join a warm, professional family living in a picturesque rural village near Colchester, Essex. You will be caring for their delightful 2½-year-old son while helping to ensure the family home runs smoothly.

The ideal candidate will be nurturing, proactive and organised, with previous childcare experience and a genuine passion for supporting children’s development while helping to create a calm, well-organised home environment.

The role combines childcare with housekeeping responsibilities within a beautiful family home. Duties include collecting the child from nursery, preparing nutritious meals, managing the child’s wardrobe and laundry, grocery shopping, and maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming home. The family employs a cleaner, so the focus is on maintaining the household rather than undertaking deep cleaning.

A careful and confident driver with a full, clean driving licence is essential. Mileage incurred whilst carrying out work-related duties will be reimbursed.

The family would welcome a Spanish-speaking candidate; however, this is not essential.

Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a nanny.
Details of any training needed for this job: A valid 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate and an Enhanced DBS check (with update service) are required.
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 Childcare qualification preferred.
Hours of work: 3.30pm – 7.30pm
Days required: Monday – Thursday
Pets in the home: Two, friendly dogs.
Driving required: Yes

Pay: £18.00 Gross per hour / £14,976 Gross per annum
