About the Role

Bluestones Medical is currently recruiting experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work across a variety of adult medical and surgical wards at Bangor Hospital. We have a wide range of flexible agency shifts available, allowing you to choose when you work while earning competitive rates of pay.

As a General Nurse, you will provide high-quality, compassionate and patient-centred care to adults with a range of acute and long-term health conditions. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care to adult patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with NMC guidelines and hospital policies.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support patients and their families throughout their hospital stay.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Promote patient dignity, safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safeguarding and clinical governance policies.

Essential Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC Pin.
• Minimum of 6 months’ recent UK adult nursing experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to provide satisfactory employment references.
• Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete).
