Our client has a great reputation in the construction / civils industry and is seeking a confident and dynamic area sales manager with a hunger and talent for winning new business and developing existing accounts. This is a brilliant opportunity for an area sales manager with a construction / technical background

• £40,000 – £45,000 basic (dependant on experience)

Role & Responsibilities

• Covering Glasgow / West Scotland
• Reporting to the Sales Director.
• Responsible for generating and increasing business opportunities.
• Develop sales tactics and negotiate contracts in line with annual sales plans.
• Promote pre-engineered solutions through depots to increase revenue.
• Produce bespoke solutions working with the engineering team.
• End-to-end management of all customer accounts within portfolio.

Skills & Experience Required

• 2 years’ experience in a field-based sales role.
• Strong understanding of construction, civil engineering or hire industry.
• Proven ability to build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.
• Proven sales results and a strong motivation to develop.
• Full product training will be given as well as continuous support
