Quarry Operative / Loading Shovel Operator – Bournemouth, Dorset

What we offer:

• Competitive pay: £34,000 per annum (approx. £654 per week)
• Set working hours: Monday to Friday 7am–5pm, plus every other Saturday 7am–12pm (as required)

Your role and responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain quarry and processing plant equipment
• Use mobile plant, including loading shovels, to feed the processing plant
• Perform planned maintenance and housekeeping duties on site
• Accurately operate the weighbridge
• Consistently follow and promote company Health & Safety standards
• Work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in quarry extraction or related industries
• Mobile plant qualifications (loading shovel and LGV experience preferred)
• Strong health and safety awareness
• A motivated team player with excellent communication skills
