Our client is a speciality manufacturer of technical machinery & equipment, and they are seeking an Assembly Fitter to join their existing team. As an Assembly Fitter, you will work to engineering drawings, use bench hand tools and assemble technical machinery.

Assembly Fitter Responsibilities:

–          Read and work to technical engineering drawings.

–          Assemble both mechanical and electrical parts.

–          Installing and fitting hydraulic, mechanical and electrical components.

–          Use both hand and power tools during assembly processes

–          Troubleshoot and carry out basic repairs during the assembly process.

Assembly Fitter Requirements:

–          Previous assembly and fitting experience

–          Experienced working within a busy manufacturing environment

–          Experienced working with hydraulic and electrical systems are essential

–          High level of attention to detail and pride in workmanship

–          Must be able to work from engineering drawings

–          Must be a team player
