About the role

Role: Delivery Project Manager- Build contracts ( Industrial / Logistics) - Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station projectLocation: Sizewell C site nr Leiston, Suffolk (IP16 4EJ)Salary: £72500 - £82500 + benefits including 10% bonus, 28 days holiday (30 days after 5 years), 15% client pension contribution + flexible benefits packageStart: August 2026 onwardsMorson Edge are looking for an experienced Project Manager with proven experience in the successful delivery of warehouses and/or logistics parks, as well as an understanding of RIBA stages to work as Delivery Project Manager supporting their client's multi-billion pound Sizewll C nuclear power station construction project. This role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the whole lifecycle of the rebar yard on the ACA. Key skills and experience required will include: 
Extensive experience in the delivery of either warehouses or logistics parks, leading packages exceeding £30m. Understanding of RIBA stages (but not looking for a design delivery manager)Interface management between design, planning and construction Experience client side or for a tier 1Knowledge of NEC / JCTExperience of procuring Design and Build contractsIdeally extensive  experience in stakeholder management 
The role will be based at the client's Sizewell C site nr Leiston, Suffolk (IP16 4EJ) 4 days/week with the rest worked from home.Candidates will be required to obtain nuclear site security clearance for this role. About the RoleBased within the Main Site Delivery Team at SZC, the Delivery Project Manager will be responsible for leading the design, procurement, and construction delivery of a defined infrastructure package, focused on industrial buildings and associated external works. Managing the full project lifecycle, you’ll ensure delivery is safe, on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of contract delivery and lead multi-disciplinary teams across complex construction activities. Aspects of Delivery will include: 
Large-scale industrial buildings and warehouse-type facilitiesStructural steel frame construction and heavy-duty floor slabsExternal works and civils, including drainage, hardstanding and logistics yardsIntegration of mechanical handling systems (e.g. cranes) into building designInterfaces with site-wide infrastructure and logistics operations
 Key Responsibilities 
Develop and deliver procurement strategies, including defining Employer’s RequirementsLead tendering, evaluation, and award of Design & Build contractsNEC3 or 4 and experience in the delivery of either warehouses or logistics parks or JCTManage contractor performance across programme, cost, and qualityEnsure designs are buildable, cost-effective, and aligned to programmeCoordinate interfaces with suppliers, contractors, and surrounding worksOversee large-scale industrial construction including buildings and external worksManage risk, change, and budget (incl. reporting to stakeholders)Lead and support delivery teams, including Assistant Project ManagersEnsure effective stakeholder engagement across internal and external parties
 Project Scope 
Contracts ranging from £250k to £150mDelivery of industrial buildings, warehouses, roads, utilities, and logistics areasLeadership of small teams and coordination with large contractor workforces
  Key Skills and Experience Essential
Proven experience delivering large industrial or logistics facilitiesFamiliarity with NEC and/or FIDIC contracts Interface management experience between design, planning and constructionStrong background in Design & Build contract procurement and deliveryExperience across design, procurement, and construction phasesKnowledge of structural steel, heavy-duty slabs, and external worksExperience managing contractors in complex, regulated environmentsStrong understanding of cost, programme, risk, and change controlDegree-qualified and ideally professionally chartered
    Desirable 
Experience in nuclear or highly regulated sectorsKnowledge of CDM regulations and nuclear quality standardsExperience with crane systems or mechanical handling integrationBackground in logistics hubs or manufacturing facilities
