Senior Resident Engineer / Site Supervisor - Highways

Our client, a leading consultancy in the highways sector, is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer / Site Supervisor to join their team for a 5km rural / hilly Road Scheme in a spectacular location in Co. Kerry, Ireland.

This is a 24 month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the works on behalf of the Employer's team
• Collaborate with the Employer's Representative and other site team members including Resident Engineer and Clerk of Works/Assistant RE
• Respond to contract RFIs, Material Acceptances, Testing Certificates, etc.
• Inspect critical work items, issue NCRs, and sign off on completed works
• Support the Employer's Representative in preparing monthly contractor payment valuations
• Assist in responding to contract claims and dispute items
• Attend monthly contractor progress meetings

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in road construction projects
• Experience in bridge construction is desirable
• Familiarity with Irish Public Works contracts or UK equivalent
• Relevant experience as a Site Supervisor, with expertise in NEC
