Quantity Surveyor | Civil Engineering | West Yorkshire | £50k - £60k + Package

We're currently working with a growing civil engineering contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Wakefield.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business delivering a range of infrastructure, highways, utilities and groundworks projects across Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.

The role will see you working closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners, managing the commercial performance of projects from procurement through to final account.

What You'll Be Doing;

• Managing the commercial delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Preparing valuations, cost reports, forecasts and final accounts.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and variations.
• Supporting project teams with commercial advice and cost control.
• Working with clients and supply chain partners to maximise project performance.
• Ensuring effective contract administration and compliance.

What You'll Need;

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts would be advantageous.
• Experience managing valuations, variations, subcontract accounts and final accounts.
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
