We're currently working with a leading construction business to recruit a Senior Estimator to join their team based in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a strong pipeline of new build affordable housing projects across the region.

The successful candidate will play a key role within the pre-construction team, managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission, working closely with clients, consultants and internal delivery teams to produce accurate and competitive bids.

What You'll Be Doing;

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tenders for new build housing projects.
• Managing the estimating process from enquiry stage through to submission.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, programmes and tender documentation.
• Producing accurate cost plans, budgets and tender reports.
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal teams.
• Supporting the wider pre-construction team with value engineering and commercial advice.

What You'll Need;

• Previous experience as an Estimator within a main contracting environment.
• Experience pricing new build residential or affordable housing projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, specifications and cost planning.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively.
