DUTIES:

• Collaborate with the art team to develop fully realised 3D assets.
• Communicate and collaborate with the Artistic Director & Game Designers.
• Create and maintain texture and model libraries.
• Work within the specifications of the project and technology, keeping the assets within budget

Based in the west midlands my client is a fast-growing gaming developer working on exciting projects with a long-term pipeline of work to fuel further growth of the business and your career.

REQUIREMENTS: 

To be considered for this Animator role you must meet the following criteria:

- Professional level of 3D modelling for games using 3D Studio Max and/or Maya

- Use of sculpting packages such as Zbrush

- Expert standard of unwrapping and texture creation using Photoshop and or Substance Painter
- Previous employment as an Artist working for a game developer.

- Ideally previous experience creating 3D Characters.
- A strong work ethic, with the ability to meet tight deadlines

- High levels of communication skills. 
- Relevant industry qualification (Degree / Diploma etc).
