Hours: Full Time, Permanent (Half day Friday – 12:30 finish)

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum DOE + Benefits

Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail focused individual to join a well established business offering excellent benefits and a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities of a Accounts Payable Assistant:

•  Processing purchase ledger invoices
•  Processing employee expenses
•  Matching invoices to purchase orders
•  Completing supplier statement reconciliations
•  Processing company credit card transactions
•  Job costing
•  Processing supplier payments
•  Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong supplier relationships
•  Assisting with month-end finance procedures
•  Supporting the wider finance team with additional administrative duties as required

Key Skills of a Accounts Payable Assistant: 

•  Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
•  Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
•  Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
•  Strong numerical and analytical abilities
•  The ability to work independently and use your own initiative
•  Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageous
