Responsibilities in your new role as Guest Relations Manager

As Guest Relations Manager, you'll ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience from arrival to departure. Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming guests and delivering outstanding customer service
• Managing guest check-in and check-out efficiently
• Handling enquiries by phone, email, and in person
• Assisting with reservations, amendments, and cancellations
• Providing information about hotel services and local attractions
• Resolving guest queries and complaints professionally
• Liaising with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready
• Maintaining accurate guest records and processing billing and payments
• Supporting administrative duties, including reporting and invoicing
• Promoting hotel facilities and services to enhance the guest experience

Your personality, experience and qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll be friendly, professional, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest service. You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A friendly, approachable, and professional manner
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• Good computer skills (hotel management system experience is an advantage)
• Fluent English (additional languages are beneficial)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varying shifts
