Class Teacher – Strong Behaviour & SEN Experience

Location:  Solihull Start: September

We’re looking for a resilient, confident Class Teacher who thrives in a setting where behaviour and SEN needs are present in every classroom. If you’re calm under pressure, consistent with routines, and passionate about helping pupils who need that extra bit of support, this is the role for you.

The Role

  • Lead a structured, purposeful classroom with clear routines
  • Teach engaging lessons that support a wide range of needs
  • Use strong behaviour strategies to maintain a positive climate
  • Work closely with TAs, SEN staff and external agencies
  • Build strong relationships with pupils who need consistency
  • Adapt teaching to meet EHCPs, SEMH needs and differentiated learning

About You

  • QTS (ECTs with strong behaviour experience welcome)
  • Confident managing challenging behaviour with a calm, steady approach
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH or additional needs
  • Skilled at de‑escalation, restorative conversations and positive reinforcement
  • Able to create a safe, structured environment where pupils can succeed
  • A team player who communicates clearly and works collaboratively
