This is an ongoing part-time locum position offering two days per week within a modern, well-equipped practice that has experienced continued growth and has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality patient care.

You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced clinical team where you’ll play an important role in helping maintain continuity of care while the practice recruits for a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse.

The Role

This is an ongoing part-time locum opportunity offering two days per week, with an immediate start available.

You’ll work alongside an experienced veterinary team providing a varied nursing role across all aspects of first opinion practice, including theatre nursing, anaesthesia, inpatient care, laboratory diagnostics, surgical assistance and general nursing duties.

This booking has arisen to provide ongoing support while the practice recruits for a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse, making it an excellent opportunity for a reliable locum seeking regular weekly work within a friendly and supportive team.

There are no out-of-hours, Sunday or Bank Holiday commitments, allowing an excellent work-life balance.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with previous UK small animal practice experience and excellent communication skills.

You’ll be confident working as part of a busy first opinion team, provide a high standard of patient and client care and enjoy working within a supportive clinical environment. Nurses with experience across theatre, inpatient care and general nursing duties are encouraged to apply.
