KS2 Teaching Assistant

Source Supply are seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Redcar and Cleveland.

As KS2 Teaching Assistant it will be your responsibility to help children flourish in their final years of primary education; you will lead small group interventions and offer support to those who need that extra boost with their learning.

The learners at this school are proud of their achievements throughout their time in education, and you will help to maintain this through following engaging lesson plans, using positive reinforcement and celebrating even the smallest of wins.

There can be lively behaviours at times, so the KS2 Teaching Assistants who apply for this role should be resilient, forward thinking and adaptable. You will understand the importance of forming strong positive relationships with the class in order to keep them on track.

Requirements

All successful applicants will:

• Have experience in working with children in a school setting.
• Have a nurturing, patient and consistent approach.
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
