Job Title: Class 2 Tanker Driver

Salary: £19.38 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights – 4 days on  (6am – 6pm) – 4 days off –  4 nights on (6pm – 6am) – 4 nights off

Job Summary

We are recruiting a Class 2 Tanker Driver on behalf of a leading utility company with depots across the Southwest. This is a full-time, permanent role working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends.

Tanker experience is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Transport sludge between various sites across the Southwest
• Operate Class  vehicles safely and in line with regulations
• Complete pre- and post-vehicle checks
• Follow all health and safety procedures (This position is lone working)
• Work a rotating shift pattern, including unsociable hours

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence – Class 1 (C+E) Desired
• Driver CPC and Tacho card
• Tanker driving experience (preferred)
• Strong reliability and timekeeping skills
• Ability to work days, nights, and weekends on a 4 on 4 off schedule
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
