EVENTS CREW STAFF/ DRIVERS – Tameside

We are seeking dedicated and motivated Event Crew Members to join our client based in Hyde, Cheshire. As an Events Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service. This position involves various responsibilities, including driving, moving, and setting up equipment to support our daily activities. Ideal candidates will possess a range of skills related to commercial driving and equipment operation.

Duties include:

• Driving a 3.5-ton vehicle – (Luton van with tail lift or large transit style van) to locations anywhere within the UK
• Loading and unloading vans following a picking and packing list. Lifting is required, items are approx. between 1kg and 20kg in weight.
• Unloading the vehicle upon return, allocation of stock back into the stores ready for re-use
• Reporting any damaged items/stock to senior staff.
• Flexible working pattern due to location of event, you may be required to start at 4am so must have flexibility and not rely on public transport.
• Using stepladders to reach a maximum height of 3m is crucial.
• Partake in various on and off-site training sessions.

Working hours & Pay Rate:

• £13.00 – £13.50 per hour
• Monday to Thursday (Friday by request depending on increased workload).
• First day while training will be 8.00am to 2.00pm in the Warehouse.
• Once training is completed, you may be required to start as early as 4.00am to ensure early arrival at each job or have overnight stays.
• Flexibility will be required due to no set working hours per day

Essential requirements: 

• Due to insurance must be over 21 and have a minimum of 2 years experience
