Location: Bromsgrove Area
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:40am – 3:20pm
Pay: £93.50 – £100 per day
Start: September 2026

Zest Education is recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded First School in the Bromsgrove area for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join its specialist Resource Base provision. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in Years 2 to 4 with a range of additional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

This role would suit a compassionate, hardworking and committed individual who is passionate about making a positive difference to children’s lives.

The Role

As a Resource Base SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the school’s specialist provision.
• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored support.
• Help pupils access learning activities and develop confidence and independence.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Promote a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage social, emotional and academic development.
• Support pupils on a small group and 1:1 basis as required.

The Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, SEND Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
• Have a strong understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Be hardworking, reliable and professional.
• Be calm, patient and compassionate in your approach.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be committed to helping every child succeed.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
