Senior Estimator

Senior Estimator | Construction | Dronfield | £60k - £75k + Package

We're currently working with a well-established main contractor to recruit a Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team in an office-based role.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering commercial, healthcare, education and industrial construction projects across Yorkshire and the Midlands.

You'll play a key role in securing new work by producing accurate and competitive estimates, working closely with the wider pre-construction and operational teams.

What You'll Be Doing;

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Producing take-offs and obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identifying value engineering opportunities and commercial risks
• Working closely with the pre-construction, commercial and delivery teams
• Supporting bid presentations and client negotiations where required

What You'll Need;

• Previous experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator with a main contractor
• Experience pricing commercial, healthcare, education or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and tendering processes
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Relevant construction qualification preferred
