Support Worker

We’re looking for compassionate Support Workers to provide person-centred care in care home, supported living, and learning disability settings. You’ll help people live safely and as independently as possible, with dignity and choice at the heart of everything we do.

=== Key Responsibilities ===
• Support with personal care, medication prompts/recording (as trained), meals, hydration and mobility.
• Enable daily living: routines, household tasks, community access and meaningful activities.
• Use positive behaviour support, clear communication and de-escalation where required.
• Keep accurate care notes/incident records and report concerns promptly.
• Work as part of a team and hand over clearly between shifts.
• Safeguard service users by following care plans, risk assessments and policies.

=== You’ll Need ===
• Face to face Moving and Handling of People Certificate.
• Experience of supported living services for adults.
• Driver with access to a vehicle (preferred).
• Experience with profound learning and physical disabilities.
• 6 months’ UK experience working in a professional care home or supported living service.
• Willingness to work Days and Nights.
• Medication Administration (training can be provided if not already held).

• Job Location: Exeter, EX1.
• Employment Type: Temporary.
• Salary: £13.00 – £16.50 per hour.
