About the role
Connect Appointments is recruiting a Night Shift Hygiene Operative to join an established food production business based in Rosyth on a temporary to permanent basis.

Our client operates a busy food production facility, requiring an experienced hygiene operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the site on a rotating night shift pattern.
What’s on offer?
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- £14.60 per hour – paid weekly
- Rotating two-week shift pattern:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday – 6pm to 6:30am (46 paid hours)
- Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday – 6pm to 6:30am (34.5 paid hours)
As a Night Shift Hygiene Operative, your duties will include:
- Cleaning and sanitising production machinery to required standards
- Cleaning floors, walls and surfaces throughout the facility
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with food hygiene and safety requirements
- Carrying out any additional cleaning duties as directed by management
To be considered as a Night Shift Hygiene Operative, you will need:
- Previous experience in an industrial or food production cleaning environment – essential
- A positive, committed approach to work
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
