Support Worker

We’re looking for compassionate Support Workers to provide person-centred care in care homes, supported living, and learning disability settings. You’ll help people live safely and as independently as possible, with dignity and choice at the heart of everything we do.

We have 24/48 hour shifts available with accommodation provided. Shifts are in Carlisle (CA2 and CA7), so if you can travel to these locations, please apply today!

=== Key Responsibilities ===
• Support with personal care, medication prompts and recording (as trained), meals, hydration and mobility.
• Enable daily living: routines, household tasks, community access and meaningful activities.
• Use positive behaviour support, clear communication and de-escalation where required.
• Keep accurate care notes and incident records, and report concerns promptly.
• Work as part of a team and hand over clearly between shifts.
• Safeguard service users by following care plans, risk assessments and policies.

=== You’ll Need ===
• Experience of supported living services for adults.
• Driver with access to a vehicle (preferred).
• Experience with profound learning and physical disabilities.
• 6 months’ UK experience working in a professional care home or supported living service.
• Willingness to work 24/48 hour shifts with accommodation provided.
• Medication Administration (training can be provided).

• Salary: £12.21 – £13.00 per hour.
