ANZUK Education is working with a specialist SEMH secondary school in the Sevenoaks area seeking to appoint an exceptional PE Teacher to join their dedicated team on a part-time basis (2 days per week, days to be confirmed). Join a supportive SEND setting committed to helping young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs overcome barriers to learning and achieve success. You will deliver engaging, adaptive and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting physical wellbeing, teamwork, confidence and resilience. Job Title: PE Teacher School: SEMH School Location: Sevenoaks Pay Range: £176.40 – £240.20 per day (fringe equivalent to MPS1–MPS6), dependent on experience Contract Type: Part-Time – 2 Days per week About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality PE lessons, adapting learning to meet the individual needs of students and creating a positive environment where young people can thrive. This opportunity would suit either a qualified teacher (QTS) or an experienced unqualified teacher with a proven track record of teaching Physical Education in UK schools. The ideal candidate will have: • QTS (desirable) or significant experience teaching PE within UK schools. • Experience supporting students with SEMH, SEND or additional social and emotional needs. • The ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging, adaptive PE lessons independently. • A flexible student-centred approach to teaching and learning. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to fostering positive engagement and student wellbeing. • Resilience, enthusiasm and a passion for helping young people achieve their potential. • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (highly desirable due to the school's rural location).
