The Opportunity

An established and highly regarded law firm in Henley-on-Thames is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner to join its busy Commercial Property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for either a permanent candidate or a locum looking for flexibility. The successful applicant will manage a varied commercial property caseload while working within a supportive, professional and client-focused environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for handling a broad range of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion, providing practical legal advice and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing your own caseload of commercial property matters.
• Handling acquisitions, disposals, leases, lease renewals and other commercial property transactions.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of legal documentation.
• Conducting due diligence and reviewing property documentation.
• Providing commercially focused legal advice to clients.
• Liaising with clients, lenders, agents and other professional advisers.
• Ensuring files are managed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working within Commercial Property law.
• The ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial property transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• A commercial mindset with a client-focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• A proactive and professional attitude.

Experience Required

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) or experienced Commercial Property Fee Earner.
• Previous experience handling a broad range of commercial property transactions is essential.
• Locum Commercial Property Lawyers are encouraged to apply.
