A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Chef in Witney, Oxfordshire, offering consistent hours, weekly pay and the security of a 12-week temporary to permanent position. This role is ideal for a Chef de Partie-level professional looking for a structured kitchen environment, regular weekday shifts and weekends off.

Working Monday to Friday, 18:00-02:00, this Chef position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career while maintaining a work-life balance. Due to the shift finish time, applicants must have a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

As a Chef, you’ll help deliver a high-quality food service by:

• Managing and running a designated kitchen section
• Preparing and presenting dishes to agreed quality standards
• Organising mise en place to ensure efficient service
• Supporting and supervising junior kitchen staff
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Monitoring stock levels, portion control and minimising waste
• Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure consistency

What we’re looking for

To be successful as a Chef, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience at Chef de Partie level or similar
• Strong cooking skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work calmly under pressure
• A good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Leadership skills to support junior team members
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• A reliable and professional approach to work
