About the Role:
Our client, a leader in the data centre industry, is looking for an Electrical LV Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of low-voltage switchgear solutions for complex industrial projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring systems are safe, reliable, and innovative, influencing critical infrastructure in a fast-moving sector.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and specify low-voltage switchgear systems in line with project requirements
• Develop detailed electrical designs that optimize safety and functionality
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly
• Create technical documentation, including schematics, layouts, and specifications
• Support project reviews and provide technical guidance during execution
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical LV design within data centre or industrial environments
• Extensive data centre project experience is required
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and safety practices
• Proficiency in electrical CAD tools and design software
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
