Electricians

A specialist contractor in the data centre sector is seeking experienced Electricians for an on-site contract in Zaragoza, Spain. You'll be working on critical electrical infrastructure including switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and circuit breakers.

Key details

• Location: Zaragoza, Spain (on-site)
• Start date: Mid-September 2026
• Rate: Up to €50 per hour
• Contract: Short-term contract (approx. 2 weeks initially) with potential to extend depending on project needs
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Openings: 5

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and fault-find electrical systems in a data centre / industrial environment
• Work on switchgear installation/maintenance and associated activities
• Support UPS systems installation, troubleshooting, and testing
• Diagnose and test generator systems and supporting electrical infrastructure
• Work with circuit breakers and power distribution equipment
• Assist with firmware upgrades where required (relevant electrical equipment)
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and site procedures
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and the wider team to meet programme deadlines

Requirements

• Approved Electrician certification (or equivalent recognised electrical qualification)
• Strong industrial project experience (data centre experience preferred)
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Switchgear
  • UPS systems
  • Generators
  • Circuit breakers
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work to site documentation (RAMS / method statements)
• Reliable, safety-first approach and good communication on a live site
