About the role

Are you an experienced and passionate teacher committed to making a difference for children with Special Educational Needs?

We are seeking an outstanding, dedicated and highly motivated Primary SEN Teacher to work in  supportive and inclusive school community from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher who has a proven track record of securing excellent outcomes for pupils with a range of additional needs.

You will

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, leadership team, support staff, parents and external agencies.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting provision to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Support pupils’ personal development, wellbeing and independence.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold our values of inclusion, respect and aspiration.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Is an experienced teacher on the Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale (MPS3-UPS3).
  • Has substantial experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and behaviour management skills.
  • Has high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Is reflective, resilient and committed to continuous professional development.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
