Our client, leading global law firm is seeking an experienced solicitor to join its highly regarded insurance litigation team in Glasgow. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a top-tier firm renowned for its expertise in the insurance sector and its commitment to career development.

You will join a busy and dynamic team acting on behalf of major insurers and corporate clients in a broad range of defender litigation matters. The caseload will include complex and high-value claims, offering exposure to varied and stimulating work.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own caseload of defender insurance litigation matters
• Handling claims across areas such as personal injury, property damage, and liability disputes
• Providing strategic advice to insurer clients
• Drafting legal documentation and conducting negotiations
• Representing clients in court where appropriate
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members

The firm is keen to hear from candidates who:

• Are Scottish qualified solicitors with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in defender litigation
• Have strong technical expertise in insurance-related matters
• Demonstrate excellent communication and client management skills
• Are commercially aware and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Are motivated to contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team
