Projects Manager, Southampton

Are you a technically minded engineer with a flair for project delivery?

Our client, a well-established HVAC organisation who deliver tailored technical solutions are looking for a Projects Manager to join their team.

As a Projects Manager, you’ll be central to delivering high-standard cooling solutions for customers. You’ll manage the full project lifecycle, including equipment procurement, subcontractor coordination, site assessments and system commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure equipment and subcontracted works.
• Attend site visits to assess installation requirements, provide technical advice and prepare detailed project quotations.
• Produce project plans, identifying resources and assigning responsibilities.
• Coordinate equipment delivery and subcontractor schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Oversee on-site engineers and teams during installation and commissioning of industrial cooling systems.
• Manage project handovers, ensuring contract compliance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support to resolve problems.
• Participate in project reviews and assist in filtering design flaws to improve future deliverables.
• Monitor project budgets, manage costs and report on project finances and performance.

Who They’re Looking For:

• Intermediate-level project management experience with commercial background.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid UK driving licence and confirmed Right to Work status for the UK.
