These roles are temporary ongoing assignments, with immediate starts for those looking to get stuck in right away.

Your rate of pay and hours of work
Successful candidates will earn an hourly rate of £15.00 to £16.00, plus accrued holiday pay. With a variety of shifts available and no minimum commitment, you have the flexibility to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle.

Responsibilities in your new role as Care Home and Nursery Chef
As a Care Home and Nursery Chef, your key responsibilities will include expertly preparing meals tailored to specific dietary needs and ensuring a consistent supply of nutritious snacks and beverages throughout the day. Additionally, you will oversee kitchen inventory, manage stock replenishment, and work seamlessly with the team to maintain a well-organised and efficient kitchen.

Your experience, qualifications and personality
To excel in this role, you must have substantial experience as a Chef or Cook in similar environments. You should be detail-oriented, highly motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting while meeting targets efficiently. For these roles, you must have a valid PVG certificate or Disclosure, or be willing to obtain one.

Most venues are easily accessible via public transport, though some locations may require access to your own vehicle.
