Your rate of pay and hours of work
This temporary position offers a competitive pay rate of £12.21 per hour, with weekly payments and the accrual of holiday pay. As a temporary worker, you’ll have the freedom to select shifts that fit your schedule, with no minimum commitment required. Responsibilities within your new role as Kitchen Assistant
In this role, you will assist chefs with food preparation, uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, and always prioritise food safety. You'll also collaborate closely with your team to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Your experience, qualifications and personality
We are looking for candidates with at least 6-12 months of experience in a similar role, ideally in a care home or educational setting. A valid PVG or Disclosure is required, and you should either already hold this or be willing to obtain one. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential. The ideal Kitchen Assistant will be passionate about providing excellent service, committed to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and able to manage tasks efficiently, even in high-pressure environments.
