Responsibilities within your new role as Kitchen Assistant
In this role, you'll support the chef by preparing food and ensuring that the kitchen maintains exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Food safety is always a priority, and you will collaborate closely with your team to ensure smooth and efficient operations in the kitchen.

Your experience, qualifications and personality
We are seeking candidates with 6-12 months of experience in a similar role, ideally gained in a care home or educational setting. A valid PVG or Disclosure is required, either currently held or obtainable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential. The ideal candidate is passionate about service excellence, dedicated to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and capable of managing tasks efficiently even under pressure.
