Your rate of pay and hours of work
These positions offer a competitive hourly rate of £15.00 to £16.00, in addition to accrued holiday pay. With flexible shift options and no minimum commitment, you have the freedom to design your work schedule around your personal needs.

Responsibilities in your new role as Care Home and Nursery Chef
As a Care Home and Nursery Chef, you will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to specific dietary requirements, ensuring that healthy snacks and beverages are always available. You will also take charge of kitchen stock management, ensure timely replenishment, and collaborate with your team to maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen.

Your experience, qualifications and personality
To be successful in this role, you should have significant experience as a Chef or Cook in similar settings, such as care homes or nurseries. Strong attention to detail, the ability to stay organized under pressure, and a proactive approach are key traits we are looking for. A valid PVG certificate or Disclosure is required, but we will also consider candidates willing to obtain one.
