Care Home and Nursery Chef

Your rate of pay and hours of work
These positions offer temporary, ongoing assignments where you can select from a range of day shifts available from Monday to Sunday, tailored to fit your needs and availability. You'll receive an hourly wage of £15.00 - £16.00 per hour, along with accrued holiday pay, paid on a weekly basis. 

Responsibilities in your new role as a Care Home Chef

• Preparing and cooking meals for different events/venues as required

• Cooking a wide range of dishes to cater to the diverse needs of clientele

• Maintaining good hygiene practices at all times in accordance with health and safety procedures

• Taking pride in the dishes you produce, ensuring they meet high standards of quality

• Being aware of and catering to specific allergies/dietary requirements

 
Your personality, experience and qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria: holding a valid PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme record, possessing at least one year of experience as a chef, demonstrating a strong understanding of allergens and dietary needs, being well-versed in kitchen health and safety protocols, and exhibiting excellent culinary proficiency capable of preparing a diverse array of dishes.
