Temp School Receptionist

Temp School Receptionist, South Manchester Based.

September 2026 start, 6-week duration (with strong possibility toe extend after the first term)

£13.50 per hour + Hol Pay.

Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 4pm

Responsibilities

• Welcome pupils, parents, visitors, and staff in a warm and professional manner
• Manage the school’s main reception and telephone enquiries
• Provide administrative support to the school office
• Maintain accurate records and assist with attendance procedures
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and emails
• Support the wider administration team with day-to-day tasks

Essentials

• 1-2 years minimum experience based with an educational setting essential
• Current ENHANCED DBS
• A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures, with the ability to implement them effectively.
• The ability to manage the collection and reconciliation of school dinner money would prove a great advantage
• Friendly, approachable, and professional.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
• Able to prioritise work and remain calm under pressure.
