Salary: $145,000-$165,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

We're partnering with a highly respected Top 100 public accounting and advisory firm that's growing its Business Solutions Group across Southern California. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting manager looking to move beyond traditional compliance work into a strategic, client-facing advisory role.
You'll work with a diverse portfolio of middle-market clients, acting as a trusted advisor while leading engagements, mentoring staff, and helping businesses strengthen their accounting and finance functions.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Manager within the Business Solutions Group, you'll lead multiple client engagements and serve as the primary relationship manager, ensuring exceptional service delivery while developing your team.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing outsourced accounting and finance engagements for a portfolio of clients
Serving as the primary point of contact for business owners and finance leaders
Reviewing monthly and period-end financial reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, or cash basis accounting
Overseeing month-end close processes and accounting operations
Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and KPI reporting
Developing dashboards and financial insights that support business decision-making
Managing engagement budgets, timelines, and client communications
Coaching, mentoring, and developing senior accountants, staff, and interns
Supporting business development initiatives, networking, and client proposals

What We're Looking For

7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
Recent experience managing client relationships in public accounting or outsourced accounting services
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
Experience overseeing month-end close and maintaining accounting records
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online
Ability to manage multiple priorities while leading high-performing teams

Bonus Points For

CPA license
Experience with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Xero, Bill.com, Concur, or similar ERP/accounting platforms
Industry specialization in areas such as professional services, manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, or technology
Spanish or additional language skills
