Your rate of pay and hours of work

Responsibilities in your new role as Care Home Chef
As a Care Home Chef, you will play a key role in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to specific dietary needs, while ensuring a continuous supply of healthy snacks and beverages throughout the day. You will also manage kitchen inventory, oversee stock replenishment, and work closely with the team to maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.

Your experience, qualifications and personality
To thrive in this role, you should bring substantial experience as a Chef or Cook in a comparable care or educational environment. A strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to excel under pressure are crucial for success. A valid PVG certificate or Disclosure is required, but we will also consider candidates who are willing to obtain one.
