Your rate of pay and hours of work
The pay for these roles ranges from £15.00 to £16.00 per hour, with the added benefit of accrued holiday pay. With flexible shift patterns available and no minimum commitment, you have the freedom to choose a work schedule that fits your personal needs.

Responsibilities in your new role as Care Home and Nursery Chef
As a Care Home and Nursery Chef, you will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to meet dietary requirements. You’ll ensure a continuous supply of healthy snacks and drinks and manage kitchen stock levels, replenishing supplies as needed. Collaborating with your team, you will maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.

Your experience, qualifications and personality
To succeed in this role, you should have solid experience working as a Chef or Cook in similar care or educational settings. Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to perform well under pressure are key to excelling. A valid PVG certificate or Disclosure is necessary, though candidates willing to obtain one are also encouraged to apply.
