Veterinary Surgeon

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to develop their career at an independent Tier 3 hospital in Swindon. The position would suit both full-time or part-time applicants and is ideal for someone looking to study towards further qualifications. Our client is seeking a dedicated professional with excellent communication skills, a team-player attitude, and a strong commitment to pet and client care.

The practice boasts its own dedicated OOH team, ensuring high professional standards of care day and night. They offer superb facilities, including CT, and have recently achieved BVA Silver Good Workplace accreditation, with ambitions for Gold.

The Role

The successful candidate will be working in the hospital alongside certificate holders in medicine, surgery, imaging, and ophthalmology, seeing both more involved cases referred from branches and the hospital’s own caseload. You will be working alongside practice owners and leaders who are passionate about supporting colleagues as individuals, providing flexible working patterns and structured career development. The practice fosters a friendly, forward-thinking team environment with an active mentoring system and a culture of teaching and coaching. They are GDP trained and an established IMR practice for Surrey University. While support is always available, they are looking for an established clinician keen to develop their skillset. A medicine bias would be desirable, but candidates with alternative career goals are encouraged to apply.
