Registered Veterinary Nurse (Nights)

Candor Vets is delighted to present an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a specialist veterinary orthopaedics, neurology, and dentistry hospital in Eashing, Surrey. This role is perfect for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals who are 'night owls' with a particular interest in providing high-quality ward-based nursing care.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of nurses, veterinary care assistants, and vets, all committed to delivering the highest standard of care to inpatients. Overnight, the team typically consists of three nurses, three veterinary care assistants, and a vet, ensuring comprehensive support for all patients.

This is a full-time position, operating on a 7 nights on, 7 nights off rota, covering Monday to Sunday every other week. Each shift is a 12-hour waking shift, including a paid rest break. The practice provides a full induction, mentoring, and ongoing support to enhance skills in advanced nursing care for orthopaedic and neurological patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional ward-based nursing care to specialist orthopaedic, neurological, and dentistry patients.

• Working collaboratively with a dedicated night team of nurses, veterinary care assistants, and vets.

• Monitoring and caring for inpatients overnight.

• Maintaining high standards of patient welfare and clinical practice.
