Veterinary Surgeon (Imaging Bias)

Candor Vets is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon with a keen interest in imaging, based in Bolton, Greater Manchester. This role is with a well-established, 24/7 hospital that provides a varied and exciting caseload, supported by a team of highly skilled vets and nurses.

The Role

As a Veterinary Surgeon with an imaging bias, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating complex cases using advanced imaging techniques. Your primary focus will be on ultrasound, digital radiography, and CT, while also participating in the general surgical and medical first opinion caseload. The ideal candidate should be confident in performing abdominal ultrasounds and interpreting radiographs. Holding a certificate in diagnostic imaging or working towards further qualifications is desirable but not essential. The caseload offers a balanced work environment that will fuel your passion for diagnostics while maintaining your connection to first-opinion care.

The rota for this position is a 40-hour, 4-day week, split between 2 days dedicated to imaging and 2 days to consulting.
