Lead Veterinary Surgeon

Candor Vets is delighted to be working with a well-established practice in Telford, seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet with a passion for both people and pets, looking to take on a pivotal leadership role within a dedicated team.

The Role

The successful candidate will lead a team of veterinary surgeons, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care are consistently met through effective coaching and mentoring. Working closely with the Practice Manager and Lead Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the clinic. Responsibilities will include evaluating clinic KPIs and P&L to ensure optimal performance and continued success. This role offers a unique chance to embed core values and foster a caring and nurturing working environment.

The rota for this position is 40 hours per week, structured over a 4-day week. Weekend work is required on a 2:9 rotation, which will be worked at a Shrewsbury hospital and is not sole charge.
